Basketball Recap: Kasson-Mantorville Takes a Loss

Kasson-Mantorville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 78-63 to the Pine Island Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Komets still had to take the loss.

Kasson-Mantorville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Pine Island, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Coming up, Kasson-Mantorville will face off against New Prague at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Island, they will take on Dover-Eyota at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Pine Island knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 games -- so hopefully Dover-Eyota likes a good challenge.
