Baseball Recap: Interboro Comes Up Short

If Interboro was riding high fresh off their 24-2 takedown of Chester last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Interboro fell 8-3 to the Chichester Eagles on Thursday. The Buccaneers were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Interboro saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Dean, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Interboro now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Chichester, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Interboro will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Ridley at 11:00 a.m. As for Chichester, they will head out on the road to challenge Academy Park at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
