Baseball Recap: Millis Comes Up Short

The Millis Mohawks came up short against the Sutton Sammies/Suzies on Thursday and fell 10-6. The Mohawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Will Ferguson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Nick Hohman, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Millis now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sutton, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Millis has already played their next matchup, a 10-6 defeat against Sutton/Douglas on the 10th. As for Sutton, they will venture away from home to face off against Blackstone-Millville at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
