Basketball Recap: Mcdonough Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

McDonough played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They skirted past the Hampton Hornets 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warhawks have posted since January 17th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McDonough to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amiyah Dedrick, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jadah Rembert, who had 13 points.

McDonough's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Hampton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

McDonough didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-23 victory against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 13th. Hampton has also already played their next contest, a 67-17 win against Locust Grove on the 13th.
