Soccer Recap: Freedom Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The matchup between Freedom Christian Academy and Fayetteville Academy on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Patriots lost 7-1 to the Eagles. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Freedom Christian Academy were already down 6-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Kingston Lee, which was the first he's scored this season.

Freedom Christian Academy is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Fayetteville Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Freedom Christian Academy and Fayetteville Academy will both be playing The O'Neal School the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
