Softball Recap: Rogers Falls Short Against Ranked Centennial

Rogers faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Royals fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Cougars when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rogers has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Rogers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against Champlin Park on the 27th.
