Softball Game Preview: Highland Rams vs. Alta Hawks

The Highland Rams will square off against the Alta Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Highland is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 18-3 to Brighton.

Hanna Schultz was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Alta was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Brighton, falling 7-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Danica Doyle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.

Alta has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Highland, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
