While Braelynn Scott delivered a dominant effort on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Brighton. Scott wasn't messing around, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. The game was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Scott and Brighton will look to defend their home field on Monday against St. Benedict at Auburndale at 6:30 p.m. Sadly, Scott's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cardinals' five-game streak of wins at home.
