Baseball Recap: Weldon Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Weldon's offense. They lost 8-0 to the North Edgecombe Warriors on Saturday. The Chargers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Weldon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for North Edgecombe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Weldon by a score of 6-0 later that day.
