Basketball Game Preview: Washington-Liberty Generals vs. Clarke County Eagles

The Washington-Liberty Generals and the Clarke County Eagles will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Wednesday, Washington-Liberty came up short against Centreville and fell 58-47. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Clarke County faced off against Central Woodstock on Thursday. Clarke County was the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over Central Woodstock. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 23 points or more this season.

Clarke County pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. As for Washington-Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
