Game recap: Prosper High School Football Team takes down Carter

PROSPER, Texas - Leading by 22 points entering the fourth quarter didn't stop Prosper (Texas) from scoring, as it added 10 points in the final quarter on the way to a 50-18 victory over Carter (Dallas, Texas) on Saturday.

The Eagles were up 33-6 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Davis Webb to Torii Hunter Jr in the first quarter.

The loss snapped the Cowboys' 4-game winning streak.

Prosper's most effective player was Webb. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 33 touchdowns on the season.

Carter's Joshua Pitts played well. The senior caught two touchdowns.



CHS came in giving up 15.8 points per game this season. The Dallas school struggled against PHS's offense, which entered the game scoring 33.9 points per game.

The defeat comes as a step back for Carter, which notched a 19-7 victory over Wilson in its previous outing.
