Softball Recap: Salisbury Township Comes Up Short

Salisbury Township fell victim to Northwestern Lehigh and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Salisbury Township now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Northwestern Lehigh, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Coming up, Salisbury Township will challenge Palmerton at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will head out to challenge Palisades at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
