Abbie Vlacich turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Monday. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off seven hits. She was up against Holderness and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them two weeks ago.

Vlacich and Proctor Academy will welcome New Hampton School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Huskies thanks in part to Vlacich: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched.
