Basketball Recap: Standing Rock Takes a Loss

Standing Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks, falling 83-63. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 49th).

Standing Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Shiloh Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

Coming up, Standing Rock will face off against Killdeer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shiloh Christian, they will square off against South Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th.
