Volleyball Recap: Grayslake North Knights vs. Highland Park Giants
Grayslake North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Highland Park Giants. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20.
Logan Smith paced Grayslake North's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Noah Sanzana and his five assists.
Grayslake North's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Highland Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Grayslake North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Rockford Auburn on the 26th.
