Volleyball Recap: Grayslake North Takes a Loss

Grayslake North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Highland Park Giants. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20.

Logan Smith paced Grayslake North's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Noah Sanzana and his five assists.

Grayslake North's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Highland Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Grayslake North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Rockford Auburn on the 26th. As for Highland Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rich Township on the 26th.
