Judson is a perfect 3-0 against Eagle Pass since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Judson Rockets will be taking part in a tournament against the Eagle Pass Eagles at 12:00 p.m. Judson has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with 12 straight defeats, while Eagle Pass will come in with seven straight wins.

Judson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Antonian Prep on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Eagle Pass earned an 8-5 victory over East Central on Thursday.

Roccia Moreno made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned runs in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Krysta Ruiz was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Mia Silva, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Eagle Pass kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Eagle Pass pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Judson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Judson came out on top in a nail-biter against Eagle Pass in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. Will Judson repeat their success, or does Eagle Pass have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
