The Geraldine Bulldogs will face off against the Pisgah Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Geraldine's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Pisgah has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Geraldine saw some tournament action on Friday. They came up short against Plainview, falling 14-3.

Pisgah not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 10th. Everything went their way against Ider as they made off with a 13-1 victory. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Luke Gilbert made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Pisgah is 3-1 when Gilbert allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-9 otherwise. Gilbert was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

In other batting news, Ross Smith was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Caleb Jenkins was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
