Softball Recap: Industrial Comes Up Short

Industrial lost against Tidehaven back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cobras lost 13-3 to the Tigers. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Industrial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Balensiefen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Industrial's loss dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for Tidehaven, they moved to 15-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Industrial will take on Yoakum at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cobras are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tidehaven, they will be playing at home against Rice Consolidated at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.95 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
