Basketball Recap: New London Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

On Friday, New London faced West Haven in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The New London Whalers had just enough and edged out the West Haven Blue Devils 46-44. The victory was nothing new for the Whalers as they're now sitting on three straight.

New London pushed their record up to 22-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points over those games. As for West Haven, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-8.
