Volleyball Recap: Elba Bluejays vs. Anselmo-Merna Coyotes
Elba was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Elba sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 18-25, 25-12.
