If Lennox Academy was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Smidt Tech last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lennox Academy lost 17-5 to the Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats on Monday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lennox Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valeria Lopez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Lennox Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Bishop Conaty-Loretto, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
