Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Polytechnic's offense. They lost 12-0 to the San Marino Titans on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost five in a row.

Polytechnic's record now sits at 3-9. As for San Marino, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polytechnic will challenge Rio Hondo Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Marino, they will face off against La Canada at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
