Meanwhile, West Michigan Aviation Academy came up short against Saranac on Saturday, falling 48-23.

Maple Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for West Michigan Aviation Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
