Softball Recap: Boston English Eagles vs. New Mission Titans
Boston English had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the New Mission Titans 20-13. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
Boston English got a massive performance out of Angelis Valentin Cruz, who scored four runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Madison Morrissey, who scored three runs and stole five bases while going 4-for-5.
Boston English will be playing at home against Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for New Mission, they will head out on the road to take on Boston International at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
