Volleyball Recap: South Central's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

South Central was the 2-1 winner over Bremen when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Satellites took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Satellites' undefeated start to the season.

While South Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11.

Bremen was led to victory by Sara Sahlhoff and Emma Kincaid. Sahlhoff had 12 digs, five kills, and one block, while Kincaid had 15 assists and four digs. Sahlhoff is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Central fell to 2-1. As for Bremen, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

South Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Knox on the 18th. As for Bremen, they will head out on the road to challenge Central Noble at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
