Soccer Game Preview: East Ridge vs. South-Doyle

The East Ridge Pioneers are taking a road trip to challenge the South-Doyle Cherokees at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

East Ridge is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Hixson on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

East Ridge's goal came courtesy of Serjio Loaroca Lucas, who's now up to 12 this season.

Meanwhile, South-Doyle hasn't lost a match since March 6th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They put the hurt on Loudon with a sharp 5-2 win. Considering South-Doyle have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

South-Doyle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-1-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 57 goals over those 11 games. As for East Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
