Football Game Preview: Pima Roughriders vs. Madison Highland Prep Heat + Official Tickets

The Pima Roughriders are taking a road trip to face off against the Madison Highland Prep Heat at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pima is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Pima earned a 13-6 victory over Morenci.

Rooster Alder went supernova, rushing for 145 yards and one TD while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Those 145 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pima's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Adam Bryce and Charles Richardson, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison Highland Prep). They took down NFL Yet Academy 18-0 on Friday. The Heat haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory got Pima back to even at 4-4. As for Madison Highland Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
