Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Vincent). They walked away with a 76-63 win over the Ste. Genevieve Dragons on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 397th, while the Dragons are ranked 186th).

St. Vincent's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Ste. Genevieve, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

St. Vincent will square off against Perryville at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Perryville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully St. Vincent likes a good challenge. As for Ste. Genevieve, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fredericktown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ste. Genevieve's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
