Basketball Game Preview: East Henderson Eagles vs. Pisgah Bears

East Henderson hasn't had much luck against Pisgah recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The East Henderson Eagles will square off against the Pisgah Bears at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as East Henderson comes in on three and Pisgah on 12.

East Henderson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat North Henderson 62-25. The Eagles pushed the score to 48-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, Pisgah blew past Tuscola, posting an 80-41 win. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

East Henderson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-13. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Pisgah, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

East Henderson was taken down by Pisgah 62-34 in their previous matchup back in January. Can East Henderson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
