Wesley Woods posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
