Basketball Game Preview: Providence Classical Paladins vs. Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons

Two dominant guards in Grafton Eiff and Ethan Jones are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Providence Classical Paladins will be playing at home against the Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

While Providence Classical didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Covenant Classical with a sharp 65-44 win on Tuesday. The Paladins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Providence Classical found their leader in sophomore Eiff, who went 9-for-16 on his way to 26 points along with eight boards and seven assists. With that strong performance, Malachi Thompson is now averaging an impressive 8.5 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Leftwich, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Arborbrook Christian Academy humbled Faith Academy Charter with a 65-25 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Arborbrook Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Providence Classical, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
