Agoura entered their tilt with Calabasas on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coyotes. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Coyotes, too.

Agoura never let Calabasas on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why Calabasas lost, don't look at Grace Yang. Despite the final result, she had six digs and two aces. Sierra Smith also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Agoura's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Calabasas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Agoura and Westlake will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calabasas, they will challenge Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
