Volleyball Game Preview: Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks vs. Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes

After both having extra time off, the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks and the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Archbishop McCarthy heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Tuesday. They fell just short of St. Thomas Aquinas by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Pompano Beach had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Flying L's.

Pompano Beach's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Archbishop McCarthy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

Archbishop McCarthy beat Pompano Beach 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Mavericks repeat their success, or do the Golden Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
