Baseball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview lost against Hubbard on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lost 8-2 to the Eagles. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nicolas Aho made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Hubbard, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Lakeview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against LaBrae on the 24th. As for Hubbard, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-4 victory against East on the 24th.
