Soccer Game Preview: Cooper vs. Wylie

Cooper is 0-10 against Wylie since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Cooper Cougars will take on the Wylie Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cooper is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Legacy on Monday. Cooper fell just short of Legacy by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wylie didn't have quite enough to beat Memorial on Monday and fell 2-1.

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Wylie, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.

Cooper might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Wylie when the teams last played on February 4th. Can Cooper avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
