Softball Recap: De La Salle Takes a Loss

De La Salle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 15-7 to the Mandeville Skippers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavalier of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2017.

De La Salle's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Mandeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. De La Salle will challenge Academy of Our Lady at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mandeville, they will square off against Pope John Paul II at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
