Basketball Game Preview: Enterprise Wildcats vs. Carver Montgomery Wolverines

The Enterprise Wildcats will face off against the Carver Montgomery Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Enterprise is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Dothan, who was ranked fifth at the time (Enterprise was ranked 24th). Enterprise was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 52-51 to Dothan. It was the first time this season that the Wildcats let down their fans at home.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carver Montgomery, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They breezed by Wilcox Central to the tune of 74-47 on Monday. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Carver Montgomery's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Enterprise, their defeat ended a 21-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-5.

Enterprise didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Carver Montgomery in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 67-61 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Carver Montgomery's Landon Parker, who posted 27 points and six rebounds.
