Football Recap: PIERCE HERNANDEZ's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Acadiana Christian over Christian Home Educators Fellowship

Acadiana Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots. The Defenders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 66-60.

Acadiana Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was PIERCE HERNANDEZ, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 58 yards. THOMAS CONQUE was another key player, rushing for 103 yards and one score on only 14 carries.

Acadiana Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.

As of now, neither Acadiana Christian nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
