League recap: Reitz Memorial scores huge upset over Evansville North

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Reitz Memorial, who took down 86th ranked Evansville North, 17-10. McKinley Warren ran for 147 yards and caught 3 passes for 108 yards in the win.

Carrington Crutcher of Bosse ran for the longest rushing play in Southern Indiana this season against Evansville Central last week. Crutcher ran for 65 yards on the play and finished with 196 on the day as his team fell to the Bears.

Ian Nunley and Crutcher gave Bosse a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Teammate Nick Hansen added to the ground attack by rushing for 15 yards.

Nunley and Crutcher gave Andre Thomas' team a balanced attack through the air and ground last week.

Crutcher was the best running back in the league this week.

Nunley put up the best numbers through the air as the Bulldogs fell to Evansville Central. He finished with 19 completions for 338 yards and 4 touchdowns. Nunley's favorite target this week was Hansen, who caught 6 passes for 103 yards.

Warren was the best receiver in the league this week as the Tigers beat the Huskies.

He went 19-36 with 3 interceptions.

On the heels of Nunley and Crutcher, Bosse has had great success on offense. Nunley is tops in the league in passing with 851 yards, while Crutcher has rushed for 458 yards this season. Evansville North's Chase Whitler leads the league in receiving yards with 302 on 17 catches.

A big matchup in Southern Indiana this week will be when Mater Dei takes on Reitz Memorial. The Wildcats are in first place, while John Hurley's team is in fifth place.

The Tigers scaled the state rankings by moving to 115 from 152 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Reitz Memorial climbed the ranks as a result of topping Bret Szabo's team 17-10.
