Mount Pleasant never got on the board in their matchup last Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against MOT Charter on Saturday. They blew past the Mustangs 14-4. The Green Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Derek Smith and Christian Mascucchini were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Smith pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Mascucchini struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. At bat, Smith went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double, while Mascucchini scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
