Softball Recap: West Perry Takes a Loss

West Perry managed to slip by Shippensburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs lost 16-6 to the Greyhounds on Monday. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Addi Lupfer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Jada Swarner was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs.

West Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Shippensburg, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Perry will challenge rival James Buchanan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Shippensburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Big Spring at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
