Baseball Game Preview: Moses Brown Quakers vs. Barrington Eagles

The Moses Brown Quakers will venture away from home to face off against the Barrington Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Moses Brown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: South Kingstown, who was ranked first at the time (Moses Brown was ranked sixth). The Quakers lost 7-1 to the Rebels on Friday. The Quakers have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Moses Brown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Menard, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Meanwhile, Barrington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the Avengers 13-0. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Avengers on their field since June 7, 2023.

Moses Brown's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Barrington, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
