Football Recap: Humboldt Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ballard last Friday, Humboldt came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 21-14 to the Webster City Lynx on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lynx apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Humboldt now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Webster City, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Humboldt is set to take on their familiar foe Algona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Webster City will face off against rival Sioux Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
