After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southern Wells, Wes-Del was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Daleville Broncos 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since May 20, 2024.

Tyler Summers was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brecken Stevenson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Wes-Del's record is now 2-4. As for Daleville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wes-Del is set to take on their familiar foe Randolph Southern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Daleville will square off against rival Monroe Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
