Volleyball Recap: Dover-Eyota Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Lauren Peck and Aubrey Foster + How To Watch

Dover-Eyota lost against Lewiston-Altura back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Dover-Eyota wouldn't go down easily and took Lewiston-Altura into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 19-25, 14-25, 15-11.

Aubrey Foster and Lauren Peck certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Foster had 14 digs and four aces, while Peck had 40 assists and 11 digs. Peck is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Kaylee Seitz also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Dover-Eyota's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Lewiston-Altura, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Dover-Eyota will venture away from home to take on Plainview-Elgin-Millville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewiston-Altura, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Century on the 27th.
