Basketball Recap: Richland Extends Winning Streak to Three

Richland waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 73-57 win over the Hermiston Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-62 back in January.

Richland's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Hermiston, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richland will square off against Gonzaga Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gonzaga Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Richland likes a good challenge. As for Hermiston, they will face off against Ridgeline at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgeline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.3 points per game this season.
