Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Mohawk + How To Watch

Mohawk had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against Siletz Valley by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Mohawk had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-14.

Hayven Croce went supernova, getting eight aces and seven digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Croce wasn't the only good servers: Mohawk was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in four consecutive matches.

Mohawk's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Siletz Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Mohawk didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Triangle Lake on the 9th. As for Siletz Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Mapleton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
