Preview: Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison vs. Maysville Warriors
Oklahoma School for the Deaf is 2-7 against Maysville since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison will square off against the Maysville Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Oklahoma School for the Deaf will be strutting in after a win while Maysville will be coming in after a defeat.
After only 18 points in their last matchup, Oklahoma School for the Deaf made sure to put some points up on the board against Maud on Tuesday. Oklahoma School for the Deaf came out on top against Maud by a score of 71-59.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landen Fewel, who scored 28 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fewel has scored all season. Another player making a difference was RyJan Reininger, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Maysville was the victim of a tough 62-38 loss at the hands of Wayne on Tuesday. Maysville has not had much luck with Wayne recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. As for Maysville, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-12.
