Basketball Recap: Corpus Christi United Takes a Loss

Corpus Christi United's tournament run continued when they took on San Antonio Memorial on Saturday. The Corpus Christi United Watchmen took a hard 63-47 fall against the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen. The Watchmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Corpus Christi United still got an impressive performance from Josh Lindsey, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards. Lindsey's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Voinov, who posted six points.

Corpus Christi United's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for San Antonio Memorial, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Corpus Christi United will take on Bloomington in a tournament on Friday. As for San Antonio Memorial, they will welcome Fredericksburg at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
