Football Game Preview: Puckett Wolves vs. Scott Central Rebels

For the first time this season, Puckett will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the Scott Central Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Puckett and six for Scott Central dating back to last season.

Puckett is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They lost 51-26 to Bogue Chitto on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Scott Central came up short against Forest on Friday and fell 14-7.

Puckett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Scott Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Puckett was taken down by Scott Central 47-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Thankfully for the Wolves, Austin Goss (who threw for 197 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 16 passes) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
